正直、日本ではあまりメジャーではないかな？
「歴史上最も偉大な100人のシンガー」では、77位。
75位の「Iggy Pop」、76位の「Steve Perry」は既出なので割愛します。

1937年生まれなので、74歳になったようです。

アメリカの西部や南部を中心とする、労働歌、地方性の強いフォークソングのようなものなんでしょうかね？
バドワイザーやヴァーボンがいかにも似合いそうな音楽です。
